The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Pope Dameron’s journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences.
After The Last Jedi which was a boring movie and it didn’t feel like a Star Wars movie to me, I didn’t really like it at all. The Rise Of Skywalker needed to be a better movie and finish the saga strong. Well the good news is this movie is a whole lot better, it feels like a Star Wars movie, the story is better and it’s a enjoyable movie. There’s a lot happening in this movie, the action is great and the acting is great, especially from Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley. You see more of Finn in this movie too after what seemed like a pointless storyline for him in TLJ, there’s more for him to do here. You finally find out Rey’s origins too, everything comes together storyline wise and the saga ends in a fitting way. There’s some returning characters who were all good to see and I loved Babu Frik.
The Rise Of Skywalker is one of the best Star Wars movies in recent years, it’s not perfect but it’s enjoyable. It’s not as good as the original trilogy movies and I don’t think they’ll ever top those movies. I would liked to have seen a scene of ghost Yoda, but you do see some others appear.
This is an enjoyable fun movie and a fitting end to the saga. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best we’re going to get. If you’re a fan it’s a must see.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of five stars
